Biography

Dr. Suk-hee Kim is an Associate Professor in the School of Social Work (College of Health and Human Services) and, a Site Coordinator for the PCWCP, and an active faculty fellow of the Institute for Health Innovation at Northern Kentucky University. In 2021, Dr. Kim was appointed to the CSWE Commission on Research. The Boston University School of Social Work Alumni Association selected her to receive the Outstanding Career in the Field of Social Work Award 2021.

Dr. Kim also was notified by the Council on Social Work Education, that CSWE Board of Directors voted unanimously to select Dr. Kim the recipient of the prestigious CSWE Distinguished Recent Contributions to Social Work Education Award for 2021 at the national level. She also received one of the most honors from her institution as the recipient of the Excellence in Research, Scholarship, and Creative Activity Award for 2021 at NKU as well as the top finalist for the Inclusive Excellence Leadership Faculty Award 2020. She previously received significant awards from the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE)’s Commission of Diversity and Social & Economic Justice Community Partnership Action Inaugural Award 2019 and the CSWE’s Council on the Role and Status of Women in Social Work Education (CORSW) Community Impact Award 2020.
