Activism, Organizing, and Community Through the Lens of Young Organizers – Open Discussion Panel
The panel brings together young, Black community organizers from a variety of backgrounds to discuss their experiences and the topics they feel passionate about as young Black people. The objectives of the discussion are to highlight the essential qualities of a leader/organizer who is attempting to hold space with people around a particular issue, to highlight issues that young Black people are interested in discussing and engaging, and additionally to talk about ways to engage with the next generation about those topics and toward particular goals.
