Biography

Reecie Colbert is the founder of BlackWomenViews Media. Colbert is a political and cultural commentator appearing weekly on the Roland Martin Unfiltered Show and the Clay Cane Show. She is renowned for her unique mix of bold, intelligent, and unfiltered commentary. She is also on a mission to debunk disinformation.

Since December 2019, Reecie is a weekly contributor to the Roland Martin Unfiltered Show every Thursday. She delivers smart and when necessary, biting commentary on current events. She has interviewed elected officials, entertainers, and experts from a variety of fields. In Summer 2020, Reecie is a weekly contributor to the Clay Cane Show on Sirius XM UrbanView every Thursday. She has become a fan favorite of SiriusXM UrbanView subscribers for her unbossed and unfiltered commentary on the week’s biggest stories. She is also known as the encyclopedia on VP Kamala Harris.

Reecie has multiple appearances on the weekly cable news program, Black News, on Revolt TV. Her first appearance discussed the Georgia Senate runoff elections (watch), and her latest appearance discussed the rising gun violence in the DC area. Reecie took over hosting duties for the Clay Cane Show on SiriusXM UrbanView. The two-hour satellite radio show featured an interview with the Treasury Deputy Secretary Wally Adeyemo and calls from around the country.
