Dr. Jamie Jensen, MSW

Biography
Dr. Jamie Jensen, MSW has over 20 years of direct experience in supporting families and caregivers as their loved ones age and reach the end of life. She has extensive experience in family mediation, long-term care planning, group facilitation and organization development consulting. Jamie is faculty in the Department of Social Work and Founding Co-Director of The Full Life Institute at Humboldt State University. She serves on several local and national boards related to aging and healthcare, and currently serves as President of the Board for Area 1 Agency on Agency & Vice President of the Community Health Alliance of Humboldt and Del Norte. Her research & publications emphasize building capacity and access in rural communities through the use of innovative technologies.
Jamie received her MSW (Social Work) from Humboldt State University, M.A. (Human Development) from Fielding Graduate University and her Ph.D. (Human and Organizational Systems) from Fielding Graduate University.
