Cameron Dasher became a victim of gun violence in August 2018 at age 19. Prior to his traumatic brain injury, he was an honor roll student-athlete who thrived on the baseball field during his high school career and had begun to pursue a college degree in Mass Communications. After suffering a near-death incident and re-learning how to walk and talk again over a one-year span, Cameron has begun to navigate through his new norm. He now continues his college education, has re-entered the workforce and manages a small home-based business. He is not only a survivor but a walking miracle whose story of hope and resilience is shared to inspire communities everywhere.
